Here is a list of the authors I love and from what series I know them from. This goes without saying but I highly recommend these authors and books. BTW: most of these books I'm discussing that these authors have written are romance.
Cassandra Clare. (The Shadowhunter Chronicles)

I absolutely love her books. In middle school, a friend of mine recommended one of the series to me: The Infernal Devices(TID) and I fell in love. No matter how many times I read Clockwork Princess I always cry at the epilogue. I have every single book of The Shadowhunter Chronicles in my bookcase and I will continue to get the new releases of them every single year. I love how there are so many so I get to enjoy the world she created more and more. These are my comfort books and I will never grow out of them.
2. Jennifer L. Armentrout (like every one of her books)

Okay, I could not leave her out. She has written so many books in so many different genres and I love almost every single one I've read. I read one of her books in 2018, sobbed and loved it and then forgot about it until 2020 when I remembered and went hunting for it again(Does that ever happen to you?). I reread it and loved it all over again and saw that she had written two books after it and I read those and loved them too. Then I looked at other books she'd written and fell in love with so many characters and series she's written. For YA readers, I recommend the Lux series and Origin series(#alienromance) and there are other ones like The Dark Elements(loved it and want a familiar like Bambi). For NA readers, she has the From Blood and Ash series which was really good too. Just overall, I recommend her. She's brilliant and so inspiring and just amazing.
3. Stephanie Garber (Caraval series)

I love these books so much. They were so amazing, the world-building was incredible and I remember how I obsessed over these books. Actually, the same friend who recommended the Shadowhunter books to me recommended these books to me(she has good taste). I was so excited to read Finale when it came out and it was so worth it. I remember feeling so happy at the ending but I was also kind of sad for Jacks. So I was really excited for the new series she's making: the Once Upon A Broken Heart. I read it and I don't know why but I didn't enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the original books: the Caraval series. Still, I love her work and she is an amazing writer. I love all the magic she pulls into her stories and I just get lost in them so easily.
4. Chloe Gong (These Violent Delights series)

I don't even know how to describe it; she is just a genius. As you probably know, Chloe Gong wrote her debut series These Violent Delights and it was based of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. Let me just make this point: I find it so incredibly difficult to read and get into classic books. But Chloe drew me into her story right away and I fell in love with her characters so much. She did an amazing job and as soon as I'd finished These Violent Delights I ordered the next book, Our Violent Ends, but I couldn't wait. So I found it online and read it before the actual hardcopy was delivered. I was crying at the end(I'm just a very emotional person). I love how she made the ending more open ended but my first thought was still how the original story goes. I can't recommend her enough. She's great and I even loved the little special she put out for Christmas. I can't wait to read more of her work.
5. Sarah J Maas (ACTOAR and TOG)

So, I feel like there is a lot of controversy about her books but I had to put her down because I have reread her books several times. Her storylines are brilliant and I love the banter between characters. She just does a great job of connecting her books and making each one as good as the rest. I never get that feeling of "Oh, the first is better than the sequel" because I think all of her books are just as great as the rest. I like how she shows that you can fall in love multiple times because maybe it's just me but I think a lot of books are first love or going back to first love;in her series, she has protagonists that fall in love a few times whereas most series have protagonists that fall in love once. I like her books and I think she's a great author so I recommend.
Those are the Fantastic 5 authors I love. I have so many others. Let me know if I should do another post like this.
